Digital Marketing Management.
Being the Digital Marketing Manager for an ambitious environmental Australian start-up in the field of climate change, my role consisted in leading the digital marketing strategy, improving the brand visibility, and growing the community with dedicated marketing activities.
Note: the organization has now been re-branded to Praesideo.
Challenges.
The organization was just launched and was not very well known yet among the target market —> the aim was to increase brand visibility online, grow the community and inspire people to download the app.
As an environmental non-profit, the organization had a limited budget for marketing activities, and thus most of the efforts had to come from organic work, requiring a well-crafted marketing strategy.
The team was small and I was the only person working in marketing in the beginning, later on, I have received support also from a marketing & design intern.
Achievements.
Grew LinkedIn followers by 128% in 3 months (1511 vs 662). One of the posts went viral, which received 270 new likes and 80 new followers.
Grew Instagram followers by 80% within 3 months (2082 vs 1160) and limited advertising budget. Around 100 new followers per week. Also increased their engagement rate to above average in the industry.
Created engaging and educational content for social media, website, and newsletter about climate change education.
Organized a virtual online event “Art for Climate Auction” - sourced 15 high-level artists to contribute with their paintings to the auction for a good purpose - $50.000 AUD was raised for the company.
Led the re-branding of the company from zero-carbon 2030 to Praesideo, including a new logo, brand identity, and website.
Launched the “Praesideo Podcast” with inspiring interviews on the topic of climate change.
Managed a graphic design & marketing intern, provided training and support.
